## Business
- **Name:** Dream Chasers Coffee Lab
- **What it is:** Family-owned roastery and coffee bar. Coffee is roasted in-house.
- **Owners:** Leo and Brittani Maggio
- **Founded:** 2020
- **Mission:** "Help other dreamers become doers."

## Story (summary)
Leo and Brittani met over coffee in Old Town Alexandria. In 2020, right after they married, they couldn't travel for a honeymoon, so they bought a commercial roaster and started roasting in their basement. They almost called the company "Linchpin"; Brittani named it Dream Chasers instead (The Linchpin lives on as their espresso blend). In January 2026 they opened Valletta Espresso Bar in Old Town North. The restaurant that housed it closed abruptly on April 17, 2026, and supporters raised $4,700 through a GoFundMe. AEDP and BuildMo helped them find a new home, and they reopened inside The Garden on July 25, 2026.
